About Star Blaster 3D
Star Blaster 3D is a fast arcade space shooter that runs right in your browser. Pilot a nimble starfighter low over glowing alien worlds, from lava plains to frozen moons, and blast through swooping saucer formations, diving darts, armored gunships and tumbling asteroid fields. Your blasters fire automatically, so you can focus on weaving between enemy shots, grabbing spread-shot and shield power-ups and saving your Nova bomb for the tightest moments. Every tenth sector a giant mothership arrives: knock out its turrets, crack its shielded core and survive its enraged spiral barrage. Sectors never run out, and each one is generated from a seed, so every pilot faces the same formations and the leaderboards stay fair. Hull and blaster colors are purely cosmetic, so skill is all that counts.
How to play
- Move your ship with the arrow keys, WASD or the mouse. On touch screens drag anywhere or use the virtual stick.
- Your blasters fire automatically. Line up under enemies to shoot them down.
- Dodge glowing enemy shots, diving darts and asteroids. A hit costs one life.
- Collect power-ups: orange for spread shot, blue for a shield, pink for an extra Nova bomb.
- Press B or Shift (or the NOVA button) to clear every enemy shot on screen and damage all enemies.
- Every 10th sector, destroy the mothership's four turrets to drop its shield, then hit the core.
