About Neon Runner
Neon Runner is a fast side-scrolling endless runner set in a glowing synthwave city. Sprint across rooftops, jump and double-jump over barriers and spike strips, slide under laser gates, clear open pits and grab every coin along the way. Each level is a distance run with its own seeded obstacle pattern, so level 200 is the same course for every player and leaderboards stay fair. Speed and obstacle density climb steadily, every fifth run is a relaxed breather, and every tenth level a hunter drone chases you with sweeping laser beams you must jump or slide past. Play free in your browser on desktop, tablet or phone with keyboard, mouse, tap or swipe controls.
How to play
- Your runner moves on their own. Reach the finish gate at the end of the distance shown in the top bar.
- Press Space or the up arrow, or tap the top half of the screen, to jump. Jump again in mid-air to double-jump.
- Hold the down arrow, or tap and hold the bottom half, to slide under glowing laser gates.
- Press down while in the air to drop back to the ground faster.
- Collect coins for bonus points. Hitting an obstacle or falling into a pit costs one of your three lives.
- On boss levels the drone fires laser beams: jump over low beams and slide under high ones.
